Use honey as a sweetener instead of sugar!

Recently, many people have become aware of the fact that sugar is harmful to your health. We add sugar to our tea, coffee, and desserts. Considering how much we drink tea and eat cakes, you can imagine how badly you affect your overall wellbeing.

That is because the body cannot tolerate excessive sugar, and sugar can accumulate over time, causing many serious health problems. According to the figures published by the American Heart Association; the daily intake of sugar should be 35 grams (150 calories) for men and 20 grams (100 calories) for women.

If you consume foods with a high sugar level, that increases your blood sugar, and pancreas pumps excessive insulin to your body to regulate that excessive sugar. In turn, this leads to a sudden drop in our blood sugar level. The sudden drop in blood sugar causes a feeling of hungry again and the need for sugar.

You risk cancer and diabetes

Also, excessive consumption of sugary foods causes increases in fatty tissue. Additionally, the consumption of sugar disrupts the function of the leptin hormone that transmits the saturation signal to the brain, and as the saturation signal does not reach the brain, nutrient intake goes higher.

Increased fatty tissue increases the risk of various diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hypertension, and cancer.

That’s why the consumer should keep themselves away from using excessive sugar for themselves and offspring. Instead of sugar, you can use Titiz Honey to sweeten your tea and cakes.

That is because honey has a positive effect on appetite and blood sugar. Research has shown that those women that consume honey instead of sugar get hungry late and their blood sugar is stable.

When you have the dough, you part the dough into small piece depending on the size of the baking tray. When you put the small pieces into your tray, flatten them with light pressure with your fingers. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Check from time to time so that cookies do not get burned. When you have cookies, sprinkle them with powdered sugar and serve. Bon appetit!
